Mountain hiking at Fjällriket is the finest family adventure of the summer. You can also go mountain biking on several trails and fish in the waters around Messlingen.
From Kläppen at Ljungdalen, a marked trail of about 12 km leads up to Helags mountain lodge, at the foot of the highest mountain in Sweden south of the Arctic Circle.
