Trail 31 leads from the summer farm (fäbod) at the Ruvallen car park eastwards through forest and across bog on duckboards to the rock paintings. From there you walk west along the ridge of Ruändan to Evagraven, a canyon. You can walk back south to Ruvallen or continue west to Fiskhålsgraven. Park at Baggården and walk up to the fäbod, or drive to the turning area near the fäbod. Trail 32, Ruvallen–Risåsstugan, starts at Ruvallen and is of moderate difficulty.

Good to know
Elk are common in Särvdalen east of Ruvallen, and the Särvån river and nearby tarns are good fishing waters.
