The snowmobile club's mountain cabin, a sturdy log cabin intended primarily as emergency shelter. It lies high up in the mountain birch forest, 6 km from the road along the snowmobile trail. The route Risåsstugan–Skärkdalen is difficult and has no known paths.
Location: Near Messlingen, at the tree line.
A little history
The cabin was put up in 1993 by Storsjö snowmobile club. Two young people died in a snowstorm near the spot in January 1992.
