A chapel on the Romboleden pilgrim trail, the starting point for Romboleden stage 30 between Bruksvallarna and Ramundberget (about 8.6 km), with views over the meadows of the Ljusnan valley.

The area has Iron Age graves, and the place names Hedningsbacken and Hedningsvallen refer to the Christianisation.
